Green End Primary School

Teaching Assistant Level 2, Grade 3

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual. They will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential and successful completion of tests in these areas is part of the interview process. A very strong commitment to raising aspiration and attainment in an urban setting is essential. This role includes breakfast club and lunchtime supervision.

We offer strong professional development and a number of our TA's go onto teacher training. This vacancy would be very suited to a graduate interested in teaching and wanting to get school experience.

Level 2, Grade 3, £18,426, pro rata, term time only, which equates to apx £15,795 per annum.

Green End Primary School

Teaching Assistant Level 3, Grade 4

reen End Primary are looking for a dynamic and experienced level 3 teaching assistant to cover whole classes.  The person we are looking for is someone who already has experience in working with children as a TA and is ready to take their career to the next stage.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in furthering their career.  Our current postholder has now moved on to train to be a teacher.

The successful candidate will be expected to cover classes for set periods of time for teacher release.  Work for these lessons will be planned and the post holder will be expected to evaluate these and mark the children’s work. 

They will also spend some of the week delivering SEN intervention programmes which they will plan, deliver and evaluate for identified children, individually and in small groups. 

They will also be highly motivated, dynamic, have strong team work skills and a ‘can do’ approach to their work. They will be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual and will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents.  A very strong commitment to raising aspiration and attainment in an urban setting is essential.
