The NGA had this to say about Kingsway Community Trust

"Over a number of years the governing board and now trustees of the Kingsway Community Trust have shown an ability to face up to difficult decisions and a willingness to change. A bold decision in forming a federation between an ‘outstanding’ school and a school in ‘special measures’ was followed a few years later by the formation of a multi academy trust.

The trustees then took up the challenge of starting a free school in 2014 to cater for the expanding number of pupils in the area. Led by a chair of governors who is a National Leader of Governance and an Executive Headteacher who is a National Leader of Education, the experienced trust board are incredibly well organised, working hard for the pupils in their three schools as well as working with other schools to share their expertise".
