Our Governance Team
At our Trust, effective governance ensures that every decision supports the success, safety, and wellbeing of our pupils. Our Trust Board works in partnership with the Executive Headteacher and staff to provide strategic leadership, uphold our values, and hold the school to high standards. Together, we aim to create a nurturing, inspiring environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.
Our Members
Trust’s Member can be described as “the guardians of the governance of the trust.” Their responsibilities are limited but very important. They appoint some of the Trust Board and have a legal responsibility to appoint the trust’s auditors.

Our Trust Board
Our Trust is led by a Trust Board made up of experienced professionals who help guide the Trust’s long‑term direction and ensure our schools provide the very best for children and families.
The Trust Board oversees:
-
How well our schools are performing financially
-
The quality of education across our academies
-
Decisions about new schools wanting to join the Trust
-
The future goals and ambitions of the Trust
A specialist Finance, Audit & Risk Committee and Personnel and Pay Committee supports the Board by looking in more detail at these important areas.

While the Trust Board sets the overall policies and vision for all our schools, we believe strongly in the importance of local decision‑making. Each school knows its community best, so where possible, decisions are made locally to reflect the needs of pupils and families. To support this, every school in the Trust has a Local Governing Committee (LGC), which helps ensure that the voices of the school community are heard.

The Trust Board delegates certain decisions about local policies and the use of resources within each school to its Local Governing Committee (LGC). Our LGCs provide strategic support to the operational leadership of our Executive Headteacher and senior leadership teams. While the LGC does not hold statutory responsibilities, it operates under a clearly defined scheme of delegation from the Trust Board. This structure allows the LGC to focus on what matters most: enhancing the life chances of all children and young people across our schools.
